AI AgentForge, operated by VAapps ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. This policy is compliant with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address — required for account creation and login
- Name — optional, provided during registration or via Google Sign-In
- Profile picture — only if you sign in with Google (provided by Google)
- Password — stored as a one-way hash; we never store or see your plaintext password
Usage Data
- Chat messages — your messages and AI responses are stored to provide chat history and analytics
- Agent & model selections — which agents and AI models you configure
- Workflow configurations — your workflow and tool customizations
- Token usage & response times — aggregated performance metrics for the analytics dashboard
- Session identifiers — randomly generated per browser tab, used to group conversations
API Keys
- Third-party API keys (OpenAI, OpenRouter, NVIDIA NIM, Ollama, vLLM) — you provide these during onboarding. They are stored in your user configuration and used solely to make requests to your chosen LLM provider on your behalf. We do not share, sell, or use your API keys for any other purpose.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the AI AgentForge platform
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Send your prompts to your configured LLM provider and return responses
- Store your chat history so you can review past conversations
- Display usage analytics (token counts, response times, agent activity)
- Send emails on your behalf only when you explicitly use the email tool within a workflow
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use cookies. Authentication is handled via JWT tokens stored in your browser's localStorage.
- We do not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, etc.).
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
- We do not use your chat data to train any AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
AI AgentForge integrates with the following third-party services. When you use them, their respective privacy policies apply:
- Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- LLM Providers (OpenAI, OpenRouter, NVIDIA NIM, Ollama, vLLM) — your chat messages are sent to your chosen provider using your own API key. Each provider has its own data handling policies. We encourage you to review them:
- Open-Meteo API — used by the weather tool. No personal data is sent.
- OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — used by the map search tool. No personal data is sent.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored in a server-side database. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt).
- API keys are stored in the database and transmitted only to your chosen LLM provider over HTTPS.
- We use JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for authentication, which expire after a configurable period.
- We implement reasonable technical safeguards, but no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
6. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
- Chat history is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
- If you delete your account, all associated data (profile, chat history, configurations, API keys) will be permanently removed.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data — available through the platform's UI (profile, chat history, analytics).
- Correct your personal data — you can update your name and configuration at any time.
- Delete your account and all associated data — contact us to request account deletion.
- Export your data — chat history can be exported as PDF from the Chat History page.
- Withdraw consent — you can stop using the platform at any time and request account deletion.
8. Age Requirement
AI AgentForge is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
